| Schedule for Tryouts |

Tryouts for boys major and minor teams and girls majors is Saturday, March 13 at the field house in Nicholson Pavilion at Central Washington University. Teams will be chosen at a draft later that same day.
Tryout schedule:
Boys minors: 9 a.m.
Boys majors: 11 a.m.
Girls majors: 2 p.m.
Players are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of his/her scheduled tryout. Players can expect to stretch and run, play catch, field ground balls and fly balls, and bat in the cage.
Please be sure to bring a mitt, wear tennis shoes, and bring plenty of water. Bats, batting helmets, catching gear, and balls will be provided. If players have their own gear they would like to use, they're more than welcome to bring it. Please contact the appropriate player agent with questions. |

March 2 Meeting Schedule:
6 p.m. EYBS March board meeting
7 p.m. Coaches meeting for all t-ball and boys rookie coaches
8 p.m. Coaches meeting for all girls rookie and girls minor coaches

Registration for the 2010 youth baseball and softball season is over. Thanks to everyone for signing up.
Please remember, if you still need to pay your dues or show your birth certificate, please mail a check made out to EYBS or a copy of your birth certificate to: EYBS, PO Box 1471, Ellensburg, WA 98926.

Don't forget to sign up by Friday February 12th. We are going to begin to form teams early next week, so be sure to get signed up. If you know of anyone else who hasn't signed up yet, please help us spread the word!

Don't miss the final new player walk-in registration Monday, Feb. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Morgan Middle School Cafeteria. New players must attend a walk-in registration and bring their birth certificate. See ya there.

New this year is a Girl's Rookie League for 1st and 2nd grade girls. This league will allow the girls an opportunity to learn how to hit a pitched ball off a live pitcher, how to properly field the ball, and how to throw the ball to first base to retire the runner. This league is for ALL 1st and 2nd grade girls, regardless of what league they played in last year (some exceptions may apply). The goal of this new league is to help ease the transition into the minor league.

Feb. 12: Final day for online registration
March 2: EYBS coaches meeting at Ellensburg High School, check back for time
March 13: Tryouts and draft for boy's major and minor leagues and girl's majors.
April 1: First day of practice for all EYBS teams.
April 17: Opening day 2010 season
A coaches clinic and equipment pickup is tentatively scheduled for March 29, 30, or 31.
